Beanland exhibited under the banner of the Porthleven Group from 1962 to
1964. He then embarked on an impressive exhibiting career, and received
many commissions for screens and printed textiles for hospitals,
churches and private homes. Recently, he has discovered what he regards
as a new and exciting way of making pictures - the use of acrylics on
newspaper. He is revelling in the speed at which he can set down his
ideas and in the freedom to experiment that no-cost paper encourages. |
