Dame Elisabeth Frink
 
Biography
 

1939 -  1993, Thurlow, Suffolk. Attended Guildford Art School and Chelsea School of Art where she studied under Professor Bernard Meadows.  Her Collectors include: Museum of Modern Art, New York and National Gallery of Australia, Melbourne.  Dame Elizabeth. Dame Elizabeth Frink was one of Britain's most acclaimed sculptors.  Her fame as a sculptor overshadowed the fact that she was also an accomplished print-make although her output of etchings and lithographs was under 100 prints.  Her favourite themes were bids and animals.  Amongst the most important of her prints were the series depicting man and horse, and she also produced a set of illustrations to Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.
