Born 1929, Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. Attended 1947-9 Belfast College of Art, 1950 National College of Art, Dublin, 1961-2 Akedemia Stuk Pieknych, Krakow. Mixed Exhibitions: Royal Ulster Academy of Art, Belfast; Royal Academy of Art, London; Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin; Royal West of England Gallery, Bristol; Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts; Ulster Group ‘63, Belfast and London; Irish Exhibitions of Living Art, Dublin (1965-1968); Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth; Salon d'Art Libre, Paris; Gorky Park Galleries, Moscow; Discerning Eye '92 & '97, London (selected by HRH Prince of Wales); Hunting Prize Exhibition, London.  Work in Collections: HM King Juan Carlos of Spain, the late Ronald Alley (former Head of Modern Painting at Tate Britain), The Arts Council of Ireland, NBC, Hertford College Oxford, The Bank of China, Irish Allied Bank, SG Warburg, Kobe Steel, West Merchant Bank, Office of Public Works, Ireland, Dept of Finance & Personnel, Govt of N.
